Elite Edu Consult is excited to announce that the American University of Nigeria (AUN) is currently open for applications for its 2025/2026 undergraduate programmes. If you scored at least 160 in the UTME and meet other course requirements, this is your chance to join one of Nigeria’s leading private universities.
How to Qualify and Apply
Basic Eligibility Criteria for UTME Applicants
A minimum JAMB score of 160 or the official cut-off mark set for the year.
Five O-level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
These results can be from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, or IGCSE, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Additional Course-Specific Requirements
For Engineering and Technology courses, you must have credits in Physics and Chemistry. Although not compulsory, having Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing can give you an edge.
For the Law (LLB Honours) programme, a credit in Literature-in-English is mandatory.
Important Note:
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission, as AUN carefully reviews your academic history, including your performance from SS1 to SS3.
Required Documents for Application
Completed application form.
Copies of your O-level certificates (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, or IGCSE).
School transcripts for SS1, SS2, and SS3.
A recommendation letter from your school principal.
Your JAMB result slip with at least 160 points.
Valid identification (passport, national ID, or driver’s license).
A brief personal statement explaining your reasons for choosing AUN and your future ambitions.
For Direct Entry or Transfer Applicants:
Diploma results (OND, NCE, HND, or A-Level certificates).
Official transcript from your previous institution.
Direct Entry JAMB or IJMB results.
Additional recommendation letter.
Ensure all your documents are complete and accurate before submitting.

What to Expect Next
The Admissions Committee will review only fully completed applications. Keep your original certificates and IDs safe, as submitted copies will not be returned. You will receive an email notification once your application has been reviewed and a decision made.
